Edison Boosters

For the first time since 2000 the Edison Eagles hosted the Boys Lacrosse District Championship and for the first time since 1999, they brought home the WIN!  It was a well played game and the Eagles dominated. 

The team advanced into the regional tournament.  After a tough first round game against West Springfield where the Eagles came out on top 13 to 8, the team will now be playing in the Regional quarterfinals against Chantilly on Friday, March 18th at 7:00 pm in the Edison Stadium.

Girls Soccer to Play for the District Championship!
 The Lady Eagles will be playing in the National District Finals on Friday, May 18th at 7:00 pm at Yorktown.  Good Luck ladies!  Make us proud!

Boys Baseball Gives Back
The Edison Boys Baseball team has been volunteering at Mt. Eagle Elementary under the direction of teacher Leslie Hatton.  The team has been meeting with the class and helping them with their reading.  If readers are leaders, all of these kids are going places!  Check out the photo gallery for photos of the players in action.

2011-2012 Spring Sports Awards Night
The Spring Sports Awards Night is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, June 5th.  Please contact your coach or the Activities Office if you have any questions about the event. 

2012 Craft Fair Date Set
The Athletic Boosters would like to announce that the date for the 2012 Craft Fair has been set!  It will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm in the Edison Gym.  We will begin accepting applications sometime in July (after the current fiscal year is up).  Please check back then to register online or to download an application.  For more information contact Lisa MicKey at awabylisa@msn.com.

The Boosters held their monthly meeting on May 7th and a new slate of officers was elected.  We would like to congratulate and introduce the officers for the 2012-2013 school year.

A HUGE Eagle Pride sized thank you to Mary Counts and Anna Williams for coordinating the concession stand for the entire year.  Considering that the concession stand is one of the largest funds producers for the boosters, this is a very important job and they have done a great job keeping the stands stocked and running.
